The primary purpose of PROTEUS-ESSENTIAL is to provide the ability to insert text, images, and data (GPS, NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, Barcode scanner, and data from CSV sentences, Quadrature inputs, Analog inputs, IRIG time, etc) into an incoming HD & SD video.
PROTEUS-ESSENTIAL supports both HDMI, HD-SDI input & output. It does not need to be connected to a computer for configuration and/or normal operation.
Numerous apps (Reticle, XY Measurement, ROV Situation awareness, Aerial Situation Awareness, Compass, Sliders, etc.) have been developed to enhance this product.
